I've been avoiding as many zesty spoilers as I can, but afaik that's the main problem heat
it sounds like alisha got totally sidelined even though they marketed her as a main character
also I'm not sure how the battle system works exactly but I've heard you have to pair up the humans with the tenzoku? (and by “humans” I mostly mean slay and rose since alisha doesn't do the kamui thing) which limits how you can set up your party. I'm sure the fusions are cool and all but as a person who's always played these games with friends, these consistent moves in the direction of abolishing multiplayer kind of annoy me
idk I'm wary about it but I think I'll like it more than the fandom is telling me I should, fandom blows everything out of proportion
The thing is, it makes too much sense. I honestly can't make sense of Owain being Lissa's son without Vaike also being the father. I'm doing Lissa/Libra for my second playthrough, and yeah it's adorable, but… I can't unsee Vaike being Owain's father.
this is kind of how I felt about maribelle/libra?? they were units I rarely used so I shoved them together mostly because they were running out of options, but it made so much sense for Brady to have a sensitive, caring (blonde) priest for a father (also Brady's whole thing about being unexpectedly “ugly,” considering how beautiful his dad is)
I still haven't seen any S-ranks on this playthrough but I think miriel and panne would be my runners-up for avatar pairs. sumia might well end up with gaius just because I feel like henry is too creepy for her and frederick is too old (idk their actual ages but some of them seem a lot younger than others so it kind of weirds me out that they all had kids around the same time…) but who knows, maybe seeing the convos will change my mind
