Yup, we're definitely still here! (I don't think I was around in the days of the so-called “cult”, though…) If you look back, I've talked about Ace Attorney a few times in this thread.
I'm afraid I haven't had a chance to play Spirit of Justice yet, since I'm too deep in Trails hell at the moment, but I should be able to fit it in between me finishing Trails of Cold Steel II and Trails in the Sky the 3rd coming out. Provided I can make room on my 3DS…
Speaking of Trails, I have finally conclusively decided that Fie is my favourite character. That may be subject to change, but at the moment I'm kind of missing having her around. Machias might actually be my second favourite, the stuff with him in the latter half of Chapter 2 really clinched it for me. I just love this angry nerd for some reason. I still really like Elliot and Emma too, Emma in particular is pretty OP. I gave her a quartz that lets her passively recover EP, so there's nothing stopping me from having her spam Aerial and Dark Matter in battles, and Breath outside of battles to keep everyone at full HP.
Also, I can't believe this game lets you stack status ailment quartz. There are even some that cause two status ailments at once. I've got Rean set up so that he can cause burn, poison, seal, and a speed debuff, and Gaius set up so that he can cause petrify, freeze and mute on top of either 50% seal or 50% blind from his crafts. It's disgusting, I love it.
