I was an avid reader when I was young, and still am. When I was young, my elementary school had Library periods during the day where the class would all go to the little classroom-turned-library we had in the building, which was this pleasant space with loads of books. We could check out books and take them home, and one day, I picked up Into the Wild. I was hooked, and I got my friends hooked too when we were young. It had to have been second or first grade. We all got into creating clans and characters- on paper, we didn't really roleplay it as we had a continuing roleplay going on about a tiger family already. But we made clans based off of our friends and had a good time. I remember I made an entire clan based off of my classmates.
I got into roleplaying on neopets and a warriors guild through which I eventually found Warriors Wish. And for a long time, I was hooked.
