I'm pasty mcwhite, but I do have some Irish heritage on my dad's side (with the red hair to match)! I had an ancestor, supposedly, who immigrated here during the potato famine. A good amount of my ancestors lived in California like me, and in my dad's local-county history book the family name's mentioned a few times (not the current one, but one of the older ones – macdonald!). On my mom's side I have the most miniscule amount of Cherokee it's barely worth mentioning.
I like to think I live up to some Irish stereotypes – I absolutely love to eat anything with potatoes, haha.
