I know I joined on July 4th, but I always forget the year… apparently it was 2007? sunneth got me to read the books and hang around the userplane chats and parts of the forum sometimes, but I was reluctant to join because I wasn't far in the books and wanted to avoid spoilers. eventually I joined anyway and just stuck to the non-discussion boards. then v1 went down only a few weeks later, so I wasn't super active until v2, but I've been consistently active since then.
the only forum I'd been a part of before then was an rp site (a lot of the members there came from Ww anyway, iirc). I think I had joined it a few months earlier, and it was my “home” site for a while, but eventually it shut down, so Ww is by far the site I've been on the longest.
