Hi, here's some Australian hotlines and helplines I googled;
All numbers, emails and websites are organised by what type of crisis they specialise in; general life advice, sexual assault/rape, domestic violence, etc. they are further organised by states (New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania, South Australia and West Australia) and territories (Australian Capital Territory and Northern Territory). The spoilers are clearly marked and for the state spoilers, they have their long form and common, short forms.
By the way for anyone who wants some help on what Australian state/territory is where here is a political map. I've met someone who didn't know that Australia had states, just a fact. Also, that tiny gray thing in NSW is the ACT.
1800 55 1800 is the Kids Helpline and gives counselling for anyone aged 5 to 25. I think some people will find this helpful as many Wishers are in this demographic.

Their website, http://www.mensline.org.au/, has info about life, relationships and wellbeing, such as same-sex relationships, maintaining a healthy [heterosexual] relationship, and how to help suicidal people. It's mainly aimed at young men (I daresay the demographic may be 15-25) but there are some parts about older people. It also has different articles depending on ethnicity, like if you're an ATSI (aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders) or Arabic.
