  this should be my first halloween at college
  and I got this radical Link costume that I've only worn here at home around people I have no care for
  I had this giant as hecke wooden sword from medieval times laying around, and a foam shield… but I pasted some cardboard over the shield and painted it with some cheap paint so I could be unmistakably from Legend of Zelda

  I might just be Katniss Everdeen again this year, because it's easy and I can layer clothes if it's cold.
  I'm not huge into trick-or-treating because I don't like candy, but people usually end up giving me some even if I don't ask for it, so I just give it away.

  So just to stir up some conversation here: best/worst costumes? Also how often do you dress up?
  
  Best: tbh I'm in love with my Link costume from last year, but at the height of pokemon fever I wore a home sewn Pikachu costume in 2000 (because idk if you know this… but premade pikachu costumes were TERRIFYING back in 2000)
  
  Worst: I once wanted to go as a zombie one year but because I'm bloodphobic I didn't do any cool blood/gore makeup so everybody thought I was Wednesday Adams… it was a lil upsetting… but looking back I'm like yeah of course you're not a zombie you dumb lil kid
  
  I try to grab a costume every year, and if I can't I scrounge around the past costume bin to see what I can salvage
  I love dressing up :3c

  I'm trying to decide who or what to dress up as for Halloween this year. My options are:
  
  • Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way
  • Merrill (Dragon Age)
  • Aveline (Dragon Age)
  • A literary figure/character of some sort (I'd go with a “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” themed costume, but I don't want to spend loads on a dress)
  • Lord Byron (unfortunately I'm not nearly dashing enough to pull this one off)
  • One of the Warrior Cats villains (possibly Scourge or Mapleshade)

  I wanted to go, but in hindsight it probably wouldn't have been all that fun as I didn't know the other children in my village very well (I also wasn't very popular with them, judging how I always ended up being the target of snowball fights)

  the first time I went trick or treating was when I was 16 because i finally was not a jehovah's witness and i really wanted some freaking candy
  
  and now i go as an adult following a child around. but i still get candy because he gets so much, and he can only have one piece a night, so y'know i gotta help him eat it before it goes bad. lol

  I did it from the time I was 4 to the time I was 17
  We also tried to carve a pumpkin every year and I always wanted to make it a cat in the early years
  
  I remember making a slenderman themed one last… not slendy though… one of his assistants

  Every year I say “nah I'm not gonna dress up this year” and then literally ten minutes before everyone else goes out I run around frantically trying to put something together.
  
  One year I literally just put on some yoga shorts, cut holes in a t-shirt, frizzed up my hair, and drew dark circles under my eyes. I think I was a zombie? But I don't really know I just wanted to go to my neighbors houses to get some chocolate.

  Those Reese's peanut butter cups are absolutely amazing. It's like a crazy combination of sweet and salty and delicious and I kinda love them. Normally that's not my kind of chocolate at all, so happy af about that
  
  Dove is also rly nice and smooth. But pretty sugary.
  
  And as I said on Skype Hersheys tastes the way chocolate smells! I know I was like heaps ridiculed because that's the weirdest comment ever but it rly does! It's also very sweet but nice.
  
  I can't believe the end of October is so close even if we don't celebrate Halloween here.. we still need to organise a Halloween party for ww oml
